Step right up folks! Comic Strip is a night of Stand Up and Strip Tease featuring some of Melbourne’s best Stand ups and Burlesque artistes. Previous guests include Celia Pacqoula (age critics choice award 2009) and The Bedroom Philosopher (JJJ Hot 100 and Directors choice award winner 2009)

Comic Strip is inspired by the old 50’s burlesque clubs of Lenny Bruce’s time. Originally these ‘joints’ were places where censorship laws did not exist and comedians were free to say anything they wanted without the risk of incarceration.

It’s a night of belly laughs and nipple tassels, a night of punch lines and high heels where you’ll laugh, whoop and howl like a wolf.
