You've recently moved to Australia from the USA. How are you finding the Melbourne burlesque world? Is there much of a difference between the two scenes?

I love everything about Melbourne and especially it's burlesque/sideshow/cabaret/freak folk. I'm so impressed with the Australian burlesque scene! There's clubs dedicated to burlesque, a supportive public, and a bunch of hot, hot performers! (I'm like a kid in a candy shop and I want to eat up all them gumdrops!)2. Everyone I have performed with thusfar has been amazing and I'm grateful to have shared the stage with all of them! But whoever that girl is who did the Devo, nerdy striptease at the Red Bennies Flood Relief...I love you. Let's make stripper babies!

We've all been told that you've gotta have a gimmick if you want to get ahead. Where did your smoking gimmick originate from?

North Carolina where I've spent most of my life is known as the tobacco state, it only seemed right that as their favorite son, I should be named Smokin'. Plus I'm sure you'd agree I'm smokin' hot! McQueen is my actual last name.4. What's it like being a boylesque performer?

What's it like being a boylesque performer?

Fun! I feel like I'm constantly living out my fantasies while on stage. I'm glittery, covered in crystals, rhinestones and sequins. I'm emulating the vintage dancers I've always admired and either making people get a little hot under the collar or making them laugh. All of which I'm glad to do.

Which Rocky Horror character do you relate to the most and why?

I think I'm what you'd get if you mixed Rocky and Columbia together. Hot science fiction dream boy and extravagant, sparkling and dancing all around lover. But I'd really like to be Eddie!
